The Pittsburgh Climate Accord...

  • is like the Paris Climate Accord, but for regular people
  • is like weight-watchers, but for your carbon footprint

Making a climate resolution is easy; sticking with it is hard! That is why it is important to have a network of people who know about your plans and who are struggling with similar issues. The Pittsburgh Climate Accord is all about creating small and large networks of people who help each other come up with realistic plans to reduce their carbon footprint and stick with it.

Here is the general idea:

  1. Come up with a plan to reduce your carbon footprint and tell us about it
  2. Tell 5 of your friends or neighbors about it
  3. Ask them for ideas and suggestions
  4. Get them to come up with their own plan and talk to 5 of their friends or neighbors about it
  5. Check in on each other every now and then to see if you are on track
